'How many packs of the professional range do I need?'

For a full head, you will need a minimum of two packs. If you have course or thick hair, we recommend you purchase three packs to achieve a fuller look.

'Can I put the tapes in at home?'

We recommend you see a professional hair stylist to apply the extensions. This should take no longer than 45 minutes and is the cost of a blow dry.

'How do I remove the tapes?'

We recommend you see a professional to remove the tapes using a tape remover solution. The tape remover solution is only available to purchase for account holders and professionals, as it is a flammable product. 

'Can I reuse the tapes and how long will they last?'

Yes, the tapes can be reused. They can be worn for up to 12 weeks after one application, and can be removed and reinstalled for up to six months. 

'How long will it take me to receive my extensions?'

If you are in the UK you will receive your extensions within 1-2 days. If you are in Europe you can expect your extensions to arrive within 3-7 days. For the rest of the world, they will arrive within 7-10 days. 

'What is Remy Human Hair?'

Remy refers to the process by which the hair is collected, in which the cuticles remain intact and aligned in the same direction so they blend naturally with your own hair. Remy hair has been sheered with the cuticles still intact and then lightly processed for colour. The lengthier processing technique is why Remy hair is more expensive than other types of hair available on the market. For example, synthetic hair or non-Remy hair. Remy hair is also graded from A to AAAAA be the highest quality Virgin hair. 

'What IS FUTURA HAIR?'

Futura hair is very similar to human hair and is the highest quality synthetic hair available on the market. The hair is made from fibers that do not cause irritation as it is not processed with chemicals that will irritate the scalp. The high heat resistance technology can be heat styled up to 377˚F and is safe and flame-retardant. 

'What does double drawn mean?'

Double drawn hair is where all or at least the majority of the hair strands are the same length throughout with no layers or very few shorter hairs in sight. The technique is selectively done by hand.

'Can I use heat styling tools on my L'Switch Hair?'

You can apply heat styling tools to your L'Switch extensions, however please do so with care as the heat from the styling tools may cause damage like it does with your natural hair. We recommend that you use a heat protective product prior to styling. This will provide protection against heat and increase the longevity of your hair extensions.

'Can I wash my hair extensions?'

You can wash your hair extensions but you must use a SULPHATE FREE shampoo, as this will help preserve the quality of your beautiful hair, using a regular shampoo will dramatically reduce the life of your extensions and may strip colour. 

'Can I colour my hair extensions?'

Yes you can colour your extensions except for the E-Synth range which is synthetic hair. We always advise caution and to use a professional to do this. We also recommend to only change the colour by a few shades and to avoid any bleaching agents. We suggest testing a small area first. Please note, once your extensions have been coloured you are unable to return for a refund.

'Can I return my hair?'

We are happy to refund your purchase within 7 days of receipt if the colour is not suitable providing the product is returned in ‘as new’ condition. Please use the colour match window provided as for hygiene reasons we cannot accept back products which have been opened or worn, even to check suitability. Items must be returned in their original packaging, unopenedPlease contact Customer Care via email: info@l-switch.com stating your full name/order reference (found in your Order Confirmation and invoice, received by email) and include the reason for return, complete with pictures/videos (if necessary). Refunds will be processed within 4 working days of receipt. However, your payment card provider may take up to 5 working days further to credit your account. 

We cannot accept hair products back where the seals have been removed / tampered with or which are in a condition which indicate the product may have been used, unless faulty.  For this reason we also reserve the right to withhold refunds until we have been able to verify that the product is unused. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 states “consumers will lose their right to cancel if they unseal goods that are not suitable for return if they are unsealed, due to health protection or hygiene reasons”. If the buyer removed hygiene seals against instructions to the contrary, they are likely to be deemed to have ‘accepted’ the goods and are not entitled to a refund or to cancel the contract.  To aid our customers and in line with Consumer Contract Regulations, our product packaging is designed in such a manner that allows consumers reasonable opportunity to assess the product colour and inspect the product quality without needing to remove the product from original packaging before deciding whether to return it or keep it.
